BAT Bachi

Made in Germany (Hickory, Hainbuche, Ahorn & special Ahorn)  -  Made in Japan + made in China (Hinoki/Zypresse)

BAT Bachi

We have actually developed something new and included it in our product range. The big KAISER DRUMS BAT- Bachi.

After many tests, feedbacks and optimizations, we finally have a Bat Bachi with optimal proportions and grip characteristics in our range, which really convinces. It is big, distinctive and yet light and grippy. Ideal for powerful and sensitive playing on Hira and O-Daiko drums.

Made of light cypress wood - weight: only about 640 grams (+/-) - handleØ: 3,1cm - OuterØ: 6cm - Total length: 67cm.

Shipping-cost for BAT Bachi:  Germany: 7€   /  European Union & Switzerland: 18€   /  Outside of EU. / worldwide: 40€

True Hickory:

True hickory wood is characterised by its enormous resilience and shock resistance.

It is much denser, harder and stronger than e.g. hard maple (up to 4 times more resilient) or hornbeam and also a bit heavier.

Yet it is still flexible and absorbs vibrations. A special wood used for dynamically strained products, perfectly suited for the production

of drumsticks. Origin: Kentucky / USA

German hornbeam:

Due to its high density hornbeam is a very hard, robust wood, hard to break and ideal for playing the Taiko. Our hornbeam Bachi are popular "all-rounders", durable and also well suited for strong stikes on the drum rim.

maple / special maple:

Maple is very similar to hornbeam, but lighter, especially an special German maple, which we have recently added to our selection. So if you prefer lighter Bachi, which are still robust when playing taiko, the beautiful, smooth maple wood is the right choice.

cypress / hinoki:

Cypress, also known in Japan as "Hinoki", is a very light and soft wood species and new in our Bachi range. Hinoki Bachi are not as hard as maple or hornbeam and are not suitable for edge strokes. However, they are very popular with many players because of their very light weight, the speed of playing Taiko and the reduced strain on the wrists.

Our Bachi are very carefully produced, finished and polished and suitable for all Taiko skins.

Made in Germany (hickory, hornbeam, maple & special maple)  -  Made in Japan + made in China (Hinoki/Cypress)
